The Marriage of Dance & Video: Neil Greenberg & Charles Dennis' "Two"

Loading...
"In March 2003 choreographer Neil Greenberg and video artist Charles Dennis collaborated on the creation of "TWO"--a work that married live dancing with live and pre-recorded dance video ... In "TWO," video images appeared on a backdrop as the dancers moved and operated two live cameras. At other times the dancers danced in unison with a large projected image of choreographer Neil Greenberg. Footage from world cinema also was projected and gave added resonance. Video artist Charles Dennis mixed all these elements live to create a dynamic live collaboration between moving bodies and moving images. This program also includes excerpts from an interview with Neil Greenberg and Charles Dennis"--Publisher's website.
