This uniform was likely worn by Ruth Beery, chief nurse of the U.S. Army 8th Evacuation Hospiatl unit, during World War II. Composed of olive green uniform jacket with gold buttons and olive green skirt; jacket: (2) U.S. pins, (2) Army Nurse Branch Cadesus pins with superimposed "N"; Europe-African-Middle Eastern campaign medal with 4 stars, Fifth Army patch, arm patch with 5 rectangular bars, green patch with golden wreath; 1 silver rectangular pin on each shoulder; skirt: Ruth Beery sewn into waistband.
