Abstract
Roanoke's State Senator William B. Hopkins predicts that Virginia will vote for Democratic candidates Hubert Humphrey and Edmund Muskie in the upcoming presidential election, assuring the press that the negative effects of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Ill., will be ephemeral. Hopkins says that George C. Wallace, the third candidate running for the American Independent Party, will take more votes away from the Republican Party than the Democratic Party.
