Abstract
Roanoke City Councilmember Dr. C. M. Cornell comments on the recent joint state and federal long-range plan for Carvins Cove, a man-made reservoir and natural area in the City of Roanoke, Va. Cornell says that the plan recommends the construction or improvement of a boat dock and a picnic area, as well as a guard building and shelter for a new concession stand and bathrooms. The plans for Carvins Cove will affect Bennett Springs. Cornell also says that the state health department has approved the report.
