Abstract
Area Republican Party members and politicians including Richard Poff and Hazel Barger track votes on a blackboard at the Republican Party Headquarters in Roanoke, Va., following the race for the United States presidency and the Virginia sixth district seat. Poff wins the House seat, defeating opponent John Whitehead, and is congratulated by fellow party members.
