Abstract
A reporter interviews reputed Civil War veteran John Salling at his home in Slant, Scott County, Va., about life after the war. Salling wears a Confederate Army uniform. Footage includes a view of Salling's house from across a road and Salling sitting in a wheelchair at an unknown gathering.
