Abstract
Crowds anticipate and then react to the partial destruction of a building via wrecking ball in downtown Salem, Va. Earlier in the day, an outside wall of the the brick structure housing the Southern Pawn Shop began to crack and ceilings caved in. No one was hurt, but the city mandated that the building be destroyed immediately.
