Abstract
WSLS-TV reporter Glenn Howell interviews William J. Paxton, Jr., city manager of Salem, Va. On the eve of the new year, Paxton divulges what he has planned for Salem in 1969. Future projects include a $4.85 million bond issue to build a new water filtration plant and a water storage facility, to enlarge the electrical system and sewage departments, and to build a new library.
