Abstract
Democrats William C. Battle and Andrew Pickens Miller deliver a campaign speech to an audience in Virginia. Battle, candidate for governor of Virginia, reprimands his Republican opponent Abner Linwood Holton, Jr. According to Battle, Holton has admitted to making false promises during his campaign for governor. Battle's running mate and Virginia Attorney General-hopeful Andrew Pickens Miller speaks after, denouncing the Republican Party and asking his audience to vote for the Democratic Party. Miller is confident that he, Battle, and lieutenant governor nominee State Senator J. Sargeant Reynolds, will fare well against their Republican opponents.
