Abstract
A member of the George C. Wallace campaign denies that the presidential candidate is radical in his beliefs. Wallace's supporters that attend his rallies are blue collar workers, consisting of firefighters, policemen, farmers, and plant workers. This is consistent with Wallace's belief that no man can be truly independent without the ability to earn a decent living for his family.
