Abstract
American Independent Party candidate George C. Wallace arrives to campaign for president in Woodrum Field Airport in Roanoke, Va. Upon stepping off an airplane, Roanoke Mayor Roy L. Webber ceremoniously presents Wallace with a patriotic gift. Wallace tells the audience at Woodrum Airport that the American Independent Party is on all 50 states' ballot for the presidential election, calling it a monumental event.
