Senator Harry F. Byrd, Jr., accompanies Neva Goodwin Rockefeller, who will be crowned Queen Shenandoah of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival by Senator George Murphy at John Handley High School in Winchester, Va. Madame Claire L. Chennault is among the honored guests. Local schoolchildren perform on the high school steps.
