Abstract
An NBC-TV broadcast shows the SS Ile de France approaching a pier in Manhattan, New York, N.Y., the decks lined with passengers rescued from the Italian ocean liner SS Andrea Doria, which sank following a collision with Swedish liner MS Stockholm. A narrator provides details of the rescue.
