Abstract
A man holds an official program for the William H. Cane Futurity race at Yonkers Raceway; the race begins with Morris Eden in the lead; Meadow Lands falls going around the first turn, causing Great Adios and First Time to collide with him; Torpid and his jockey John Simpson take the lead and set the world record of two minutes, nine and one-fifth seconds.
