The WSLS-TV News Film Collection, 1951-1971, comprises anchor scripts and 16mm news film created by Roanoke, Va., television station WSLS. A grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities funded the preservation and digitization of this collection.

Abstract
Over 150,000 people gather in downtown Milwaukee for a parade for the Braves; marching bands and dancers parade down the street; convertibles carrying Braves players Hank Aaron, Wes Covington, Bob Buhl, Eddie Mathews, Juan Pizarro, Felix Mantilla, Warren Spahn, and Lew Burdette drive down the crowded streets; the car carrying manager Fred Haney is stopped and surrounded by dancing Native Americans; the cars arrive at the airport and the Braves board a plane while fans dressed as Native Americans dance in celebration.
