Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor, Jr., of the University of California, Los Angeles Bruins, is the most overpowering basketball player in over a decade. The National Association of College Basketball Coaches selected Alcindor to be a part of the All American 1968 Team. Footage shows Alcindor playing basketball for the Bruins in a commercial produced by the Wheaties Sports Federation. With his college career coming to a close, Alcindor says his upcoming plans include a trip to the West Indies.
