Abstract
In Roanoke, Va., sixth congressional district Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates John Whitehead reads a prepared statement on the conflict in the Middle East surrounding Egyptian nationalization of the Suez Canal. Whitehead emphasizes the necessity of maintaining a bipartisan foreign policy, calling on United States officials to do everything possible to contain the crisis in Egypt.
