Abstract
In Roanoke, Va., WSLS-TV reporter Joe Moffatt interviews State Senator Earl Fitzpatrick regarding Governor Thomas B. Stanley's decision to call a special session of the Virginia General Assembly after the Commission on Public Education, also known as the Gray Commission, recommended that the state should withhold funding from integrated public schools while offering tuition grants to students seeking to attend segregated private schools. Fitzpatrick expresses his confidence in the Gray Commission's recommendation and his certainty that Virginia voters will support the idea.
