Abstract
Roanoke, Va., candidates for the Virginia House of Delegates Hazel Barger, Kossen Gregory, A. Linwood Holton, and Julian Rutherfoord make guest appearances at a meeting of Roanoke's Williamson Road Woman's Club. Barger presents statistics on teacher salaries, teacher qualifications, and education in the state, arguing in favor of increasing minimum salaries for Virginia teachers. Rutherfoord calls for the end of price-fixing by the State Milk Commission, as well as a restructuring of the commission itself.
