Abstract
In Richmond, Va., Delegate Arthur R. Giesen, Jr., tells WSLS-TV about the strength that the Republican Party has shown in recent elections within the General Assembly of Virginia. The Republican Party has won three of the four special elections held since November 1968. Delegate Giesen is optimistic that this is a foreshadowing of the upcoming gubernatorial elections.
