Abstract
Roanoke City Council meets for the first time with new Mayor Roy L. Webber in Roanoke, Va. WSLS-TV reporter Glenn Howell interviews Supervisor Lee B. Eddy of Roanoke County, Va., about the Roanoke County annexation suit. Eddy prefers consolidation over annexation because it would allow citizens of Roanoke County to vote on the matter. Eddy deems annexation un-democratic and hopes that Roanoke City Council will not pass a county-wide annexation ordinance.
