Abstract
Virginia State Senator Henry Evans Howell, Jr., boasts to WSLS-TV reporter Charles Fishburne that, in the past, the U.S. Democratic Party has secured funds for education in Virginia. Senator Howell warns that there is no guarantee that these funds will continue under a Republican administration and scolds Virginia Governor Mills E. Godwin, Jr., for not campaigning for the liberals. Senator Howell predicts that it will be the large amount of uncommitted votes in Virginia who decide whether the state will vote Republican or Democratic.
