Abstract
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson responds to a question at a press conference in Blacksburg, Va. Benson argues that both he and President Dwight Eisenhower have clearly expressed their views on agricultural reform on multiple occasions, and that the U.S. Congress, in asking for clarification of these views, is simply attempting to excuse itself from the responsibility of taking action.
