Abstract
Rescue crews from Botetourt County, Va., and the surrounding area gather at a pond in Botetourt to search for the bodies of two men who drowned in a boating accident. A member of the Bedford County Life Saving Crew affixes a row of drag hooks to a boat. Men in several boats work together to haul one of the bodies out of the water, wrapping it in a tarp before carrying it onshore. After recovering the second body from the water, crew members lift it onto a stretcher, which is loaded into a Roanoke Life Saving Crew vehicle.
