Abstract
Members of the 116th Infantry Regiment of the Virginia Army National Guard convene at a meeting headed by James D. Sink, executive officer of the First Battle Group. Sink addresses attendees, presenting sketches and photos of a new memorial to be erected at Omaha Beach on the coast of Normandy, France, honoring American soldiers killed there during the WWII invasion.
