Abstract
A representative from the U.S. Department of Defense discusses his recent inspection of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Virginia's Pulaski and Montgomery counties, explaining that he and his team are conducting a nationwide survey of arsenals to determine the country's solid propellant production capacity. The representative says that the team was impressed with the facilities, though he is unable to offer a judgment as to whether or not the arsenal might be capable of increasing its production of solid propellant and rockets.
