Abstract
Police investigate the Cheatham home in Roanoke, Va., after Luther Cheatham is accused of murdering his wife Mary E. Cheatham. Two men arrange a sheet over the body before removing it from the house; officers display the gun used to shoot Mrs. Cheatham and examine a pool of blood on the floor. Officials escort Mr. Cheatham into an elevator in the Roanoke City Jail.
