Abstract
Republican Member-elect for the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors Lee Eddy discusses the legality of the advisory committees formed to study the consolidation of the governing bodies of Roanoke County and the City of Roanoke. An advisory committee was appointed to create a consolidation plan to be agreed upon no later than six months after its creation. However, the committee failed to act in the given timeframe.
