Abstract
In Rocky Mount, Va., brick walls crumble after a fire destroys a building that houses several businesses, including Flower Fashions by Elaine. Firefighters attempt to extinguish a fire in Harpers Drug Store, the Deluxe Restaurant, and a third building in Dublin, Va.; footage of the damage done to the interior of the Deluxe Restaurant shows where the fire is believed to have begun. A fire destroys an entire house belonging to the family of Charlie Mitchell in Bedford County. Over 100 Roanoke city employees gather for a buffet luncheon at their annual Christmas party.
