Abstract
In Roanoke, Va., Governor James Lindsay Almond discusses his views concerning the routing of a proposed federal interstate highway through Virginia; he states that he doesn't favor a route close to Roanoke and Lynchburg for personal reasons,but rather he supports a route that will benefit the whole state. Governor Almond expresses his condolences for the death of Delegate John Bradie Allman.
