Abstract
Roanoke Civic Center Director Howard E. Radford discusses the formation of the Metropolitan Roanoke Convention Bureau, which will be the sales agency for the Roanoke Valley, a necessity with the completion of the new Roanoke Civic Center in May 1970. According to Radford, the new Metropolitan Roanoke Convention Bureau will function within the framework of the United States Chamber of Commerce and operate for the well-being of the entire Roanoke area community.
