Thomas Coleman Andrews, Jr., chairman of the American Independent Party, tells WSLS-TV viewers to switch their vote from George C. Wallace to Republican candidate Richard M. Nixon. Wallace was defeated in the previous day's voting results, causing the American Independent Party to transfer its support to Nixon.
