Abstract
U. S. Secretary of the Treasury Henry H. Fowler tells WSLS-TV about the period of prosperity under the U.S. National Democratic Party since 1961. According to Fowler, the eight years while the Democrats were in power experienced a period of unprecedented fiscal growth. In campaigning for the Democratic Party, Fowler says personal income in Virginia grew from 35 percent during the Republican era, which ended in 1960, to 73 percent by 1968.
