In Roanoke, Va., a representative of the American Independent Party's campaign committee tells WSLS-TV about his party's recent discontent over Republican candidate Spiro T. Agnew's statements about the third party candidate George C. Wallace. Footage switches to sixth district Campaign Chairman Frank N. Perkinson, Jr., speaking on behalf of the Democratic Party. Chairman Perkinson says Agnew's chief threat in the Virginia election primaries is Democratic nominee Hubert H. Humphrey, not Wallace. Perkinson predicts that voting in Virginia will be divided evenly between the three candidates.
