Councilman Frank M. Perkinson, Jr., discusses the formation of a newly formed committee in the City of Roanoke, Va., concerning gun control. According to Perkinson, the purpose of the committee is to pass a law granting the police department the power to confiscate firearms from perpetrators. Perkinson and his committee hope that the other counties will follow suit in controlling firearms.
