Abstract
WSLS-TV reporter Bill Mason interviews Vice Mayor James O. Trout about the temporary site of a landfill for Roanoke, Va. Footage shows the two men standing at the site of the landfill near Tinker Creek in Roanoke, Va. According to Trout, the disposal will compact the trash, not burn it, thus avoiding unpleasant odors. Trout hopes that the city council will reach a decision for a permanent landfill site before the six-month deadline.
