  • Field recordings of festival music from the Minho region (Viana do Castelo district) in northwest Portugal, including percussion ensembles, brass bands, concertina and string instrument-based ensembles, poetic recitations and songs, and music for women's voices. Recordings from two romaria festivals, the Romaria de Nossa Senhora d'Agonia (Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Agony) in Viana do Castelo, and the Romaria de São João d'Arga (Pilgrimage of São João d'Arga) in a Roman chapel in the Serra d'Arga mountains.
