Summary
The bumbling Monsieur Hulot, an auto company's director of design, takes his new vehicle (a camper tricked out with absurd gadgetry) to an auto show in Amsterdam. But he and his entourage find life on the road is filled with setbacks. The film is both a sight-gag comedy and a critique of car culture.
