Pamela Spiro Wagner, Poet (Wethersfield, Connecticut) shared her story of living with schizophrenia and the difficutlies with medication compliance. Carolyn S. Spiro, M.D. (Psychiatrist in private practice and writer, Wilton, Connecticut) described her experience of being a sister and twin to a person with schizophrenia and the incredible breakthrough that her sister has recently experienced in finding an effective drug regimen. The topics of hope and stigma were also discussed.
