Summary
A replica of Jefferson's "writing box" on which he drafted the Declaration of Independence.
"Replica is crafted of mahogany utilizing many of the same woodworking techniques [as the original]. This custom-built piece has a top that unfolds to create a baize-covered writing surface that elevates up to a 5" height using one of six available stations. A locking drawer has compartments for writing paper, inkwell and pen. Brass hardware. Made in America by the Bartley Collection."
