The collection contains a copy of a speech given by Williams at the inauguration of the Josephine School Community Museum, the Clarke County African-American Museum and Cultural Center, Berryville, Va.
Williams, aged 94, recalls her attendance at segregated schools provided for African American children in Clarke County, Va., 1916-1923 (ca.), with scattered incidents from her later life concerning racial discrimination, and many references to her sustaining Christian faith.
With the speech are two copies of the program from the Museum dedication containing a history of Josephine City School.
