Mrs. Sanchez's speech, read at the Iva Coolbrith Circle, 1920 October 24, contains letters between Stoddard and Robert Louis Stevenson, a poem to Stoddard by Joaquin Miller and reminiscences of many California artists including Jules Tavernier, Julian Walbridge Rix, Joseph D. Strong and Elizabeth Strong.
