1788: payment document for Alexander Christy for work performed on the canal.
1840 December 9: two $20 promissory notes of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company (which later absorbed the Potomac Company).
1861 May 16: Freight receipt of the Old Dominion Steamboat Co., the steamer Virginia, for five boxes of muskets, one box of cartridges, and one package of flints, received at Leedstown by Maj. R.M. Mayo.
