Summary
Meeting of the Subcom on Legislation and National Security to consider draft report regarding protest filed by Bristol Electronics, Inc. against Department of Army's award of a contract in Mar. 1974 to E-Systems, Inc. for sale of radio sets to other governments under the foreign military sales program.
In July 1974, GAO upheld Bristol charges of Army improprieties in determining lowest bidder and recommended the contract be terminated and reissued for bids. In Dec. 1974, GAO reversed its original decision following Army request for reconsideration.
