Contains transcript of Committee markup session on H.R. 6644, to amend the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) to provide for the late enrollment of certain Natives for benefits under ANCSA, to allow for merger of existing village and regional Native corporations, to extend for three years the Joint Federal-State Land Use Planning Commission for Alaska, and to revise and clarify provisions for a 13th regional corporation for non-resident native Alaskans. Amended bill was favorably reported.
