Contains transcript of Subcom on Merchant Marine markup session on H.R. 8193, the Energy Transportation Security Act, to amend the Merchant Marine Act to require that a minimum of 20% of U.S. liquid petroleum and liquid petroleum products imports be carried on U.S.-flag vessels. Provides for the minimum to be increased to 25% after June 30, 1975 and to 30% after June 30, 1977. Amended bill was favorably reported.
