Considers ABA recommendations on following human rights conventions. Convention on Political Rights of Women to vote and hold office in their country (adopted by UN General Assembly in 1952). Convention on Abolition of Forced Labor as punishment for political beliefs, for engaging in labor strikes, or for pursuing economic development, etc. (adopted by ILO in 1957). Supplementary Slavery Convention (augmenting the Slavery Convention of 1926) prohibiting debt bondage, serfdom, and delivery of a person by his parents for exploitation of his labor, etc. (adopted by UN General Assembly in 1956).
