Considers. H.R. 12854, identical H.R. 13689, and related H.R. 8781, to reorganize D.C. Court of General Sessions, Juvenile Court and D.C. Tax Court into a single Superior Court of D.C. with four corresponding divisions, and to provide D.C. courts with local jurisdiction. H.R. 13690, and H.R. 12855, to amend D.C. Bail Act to increase D.C. Bail Agency functions. H.R. 12856, to redesignate Legal Aid Agency of D.C. as the D.C. Public Defender Service and to increase its staff and functions. H.R. 6034, to enlarge jurisdiction of D.C. Court of General Sessions to include offenses against municipal ordinances and those for which the punishment is less than one year.
