Considers two private bills, H.R. 1452, to authorize a sale of certain artifacts from a former light station in Scituate, Mass.; and S. 513, to authorize the Treasury Dept to provide coastwise trade documentation for a ship, the Acadia of Port Clyde, Maine. Also considers. S. 881 and related S. 205, to authorize the Treasury Dept to document ships of former U.S. registry subsequently sold to foreign concerns. S. 833, to expand the Federal Boating Act of 1958 to include Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. H.R. 2292 and H.R. 8719, to revise Coast Guard discharge and temporary appointment and promotion authority. S. 1289 and related H.R. 4744, to revise export manifest oath requirements. H.R. 4229, to authorize application of commissioned officer service in the Coast and Geodetic Survey towards civil service retirement benefits. H.R. 8152, to implement the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea by Oil of 1954 provisions.
