Abstract
This study contains data from the fifth round of the Massachusetts Health Reform Survey (MHRS), a survey designed to track the impact of Massachusetts health care reform legislation passed in 2006. Topics covered by the survey include health status and work limitation; access to and use of health care; health insurance status and specific types of health insurance coverage held by the survey respondents; health insurance premiums, out-of-pocket health care costs and medical debt; and demographic and socioeconomic characteristics. The survey also gauged support for the legislation, the impact of the individual mandate on health insurance coverage, and how confident individuals felt they would be able to keep their current health insurance coverage in the coming year.Cf: http://doi.org/10.3886/ICPSR35030.v1
